Getting the Most from Your Digital Point & Shoot Camera

Do you want to use your Point & Shoot camera to get better nature photographs?  Do you understand all its settings or modes and how they impact your pictures?  This weekend workshop will give you the opportunity to learn how to use all your camera’s capabilities from a professional fine art photographer.  You can learn by doing and receive immediate feedback while enjoying the hospitality of the Inn at Swan Lake.

Getting More from Your Digital SLR Camera

What are all those settings on your camera? What’s the impact on a photograph when you use aperture mode over shutter mode? This four-day workshop is designed for beginning and intermediate photographers who want to grow their technical skills. Each day will begin with instruction at the Inn and then move outdoors to practice techniques. In the field the instructor will give you feedback and suggestions that you can use immediately.  After lunch, you’ll view your photos on a computer and discuss techniques and composition with other students. The afternoon ends with more shooting and a snack at the Inn. On the last day, you will select the image that will be custom printed and sent to you.
